I discovered something new from google! Well maybe this is an old feature from google, but for me it’s new! Hehehe.

What I am talking about is the Google Friend Connect!

Google Friend Connect instantly awakens and strengthens the community that visits your site by enriching it with social features. Watch the video below to learn more:

Through Google Friend Connect, you can build your own community! Anyone can join your site and discover other members by using information from a variety of services, including Google, Yahoo, Twitter, AOL, orkut, and Plaxo, strengthening your community as visitors become members.

Do you wanna see it in action? Join my community! You can go on the top-right portion of my page and be my guest. But if you are in my main page, you can see it the widget box before the G-C Ad Section.

Come on, try it! If you have your own site, why not build your own community? Google friend connect have lots of gadgets and features that you can use. Later I will put those widgets on my site.

Aside from making money from writing an article (see my post: “Blogging Make Money“), you can also earn some extra money from including an adsense in your blog like I do. Do you see my google adsense below?

Yeah, the one inside the green box. When you click on any of the items inside that green box, I earn some extra points, well I mean, extra credits.

Aside from a pure text adsense, google also offer adsense with images like the image below:

There are actually four adsense that you can add to your site. These are:

1. Adsense for Content (the text and image ads that I have shown you)
2. Adsense for Search (you can try the search box at the top)
3. Adsense for Feeds (not shown in this site)
4. Adsense for Domains (not shown in this site)

So if you want to earn some extra money from ads by google, create an account on their site (https://www.google.com/adsense/) and get started!
