Many people are asking the question:

“How can I make money online???”

Well there are lots of ways to do it in the internet marketing world. Some are earning by just making blogs and reports. Some do their earnings thru Adsense. Some subscribe on pay per post (PPP), pay per click (PPC), and pay per view (PPV) programs. Others do affiliating by subscribing on affiliating program, and most are selling items directly online. But whatever is your choice, there’s a very important thing you have to know. The question of:

“Where will I start?”

I read a lot of articles about internet marketing few years ago to learn things from scratch. And I have found two things:

1.) there are reliable articles and e-books that will lead you to success,

and

2.) there are foolish articles that will lead you to nowhere.

Yes, you heard it right… Sad to say but there are books that will just make you believe that they are telling the truth, but in the end you’ll find out that they are just doing a “Sales Talk” so that you’ll buy their product in the end.

I have experienced these things actually. I always ask myself: “Which is which?”. Finally, I came up with this article so that others will not struggle on the things I’ve gone through.

In this blog category: Making Money Online, I will make articles that can help you how to start with internet marketing and the others.

So let us answer the very first and basic question of:

“Where will I start?”

The very first thing that I recommend if you want to start making money online is to have a PayPal Account. Why? Because all of your earnings will be transferred on that account and most of programs whether it’s an adsense, affiliating programs, etc… requires their subscriber to have their own paypal account.

Now, the next question is how will you get your own paypal account? The answer is, you SHOULD have your own credit card. Whether it is VISA, Master Card, JCB or AMEX, PAYPAL needs a credit card where they will link your paypal account. Usually your paypal account is the e-mail account that you will send to them when you fill up a form. So obviously you need an e-mail address.

In my case, my paypal account is my hotmail account: gayward.mendoza@hotmail.com

Do you wanna see it in action? Click the donation button below:

Don’t worry and do not be afraid of clicking it, it will not charge you instantly. I just want to show you an example that you can make a donation button by using your paypal account (you cannot make donations if you don’t also have a paypal account so… it’s fine, click it!).

Well at least you now have an idea to know where to start! Are you ready to start making money online? he.he. Next time I’ll be discussing about affiliating programs, so stay tune. Or if you want, you may subscribe on my RSS Feeds. Just click the RSS Feed button so you are always updated. THANKS for reading my article!

Filipinos are now aware of the online businesses. Few years ago, shopping malls, gadgets stores, music stores, and many others are not interested on selling items online especially here in the Philippines. They were afraid of the fraud that can happen when selling online and I guess Filipino really don’t give their trust that easily when it comes to modes of payment.

Even myself, do not want to use my credit card before on online purchases because I am afraid that somebody might get my credit card information during the actual purchase. I guess it is already in Filipino nature to be “madududahin” sa kapwa, especially when they are dealing with “kapwa Pilipino”. (It is sad to hear that in other countries, kung sino pa yung kalahi mo, yun pa ang manloloko sa’yo… Well I hope it is just hearsay). Well, maybe not all, but I believe, most of people are like that.

Some questions that they always ask are the safety. How safe is it? Are my credit card information will be stored in their database? Kulang na lang tanungin nila kung “Unilab ba yan?” (Hey I am not plugging ok? But I did…hehe).

SAFETY and SECURITY are the most important things when purchasing items online. One of the things to know is if the website is a secured site. What is a secured site? Well, it is easy to know and classify. When you take a look at your URL, the protocol used most of the time is HTTP:// ,but when a site is a secured site, it uses HTTPS:// . The “S” obviously means SECURITY. So you’re SAFE!!!

Another clue is the LOCK image at the lower right of the screen browser (near your tray icon). If you cannot see this padlock, then do not proceed on payment.

So what??? So what if they use HTTPS:// protocol and have a padlock image? It only means that the site is using a special encryption of data like SSL 128 bit encryption.

What is SSL 128 bit encryption?

The 128-bit SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) gives you the highest level of protection possible whenever you use credit cards or make other financial or confidential transactions over the Internet.

The Internet Explorer 128-bit High Encryption is the highest level of protection possible for all your Internet communications, including credit card use and financial transactions.

Well, I hope you learn something from this blog. So next time, do not be afraid to purchase items online using your credit cards. But before you purchase an item, take a look on the “S” of the https:// and the padlock icon.

Happy ONLINE Shopping!
