When we talk about magnets, it is a general rule that unlike poles attract, and like poles repel.

When two magnets are brought close to each other, the flux lines from both magnets interact. If these flux lines are flowing in the same direction, they will link up and the magnets will attract each other. If they are flowing in opposite directions, they will produce a repulsive force and push away from each other, (often taking the magnets with them!) The force between them depends on the separation distance and the flux density (magnetic strength) of the magnets used.

But in the case of humans, it is different. We usually go on and look for someone with traits similar to you. We are usually attracted to somebody who has the same “likes” and “dislikes”.

If you are a music lover, you usually attracted on someone plays guitars, piano or any musical instruments.  If you are engaged in sports, you usually go on with people who play basketball, volleyball, badmenton or any activity that involves physical exercises.

Likewise, you do not want to go along with the sports-minded person if the only sport you know is virtual chess. You do not want to go on a rock band concert if you prefer to go inside a museum or a library.

Just like the old saying goes: “Birds of the same feather, flock together!”

gayward-concept no. 1 :
“In humans, like poles (like spirits, attitude, etc.) attract and unlike poles (like spirits, attitude, etc.) repel!”

Makes sense… :D
